Login PERMATA Search for UiTM Members
It is recommended for UiTM members (students and staff) to log into PERMATA Search first. This can be achieved with these steps:
  1. Login to PERMATA Search
  2. Start your searching
Access as Guest
UiTM PERMATA Search offers guest access for the public to search its collections library. This will limit its function for personalization. However, the current function (holdings) is sufficient for them to search and locate the book.

Searching Book (Basic Search)

  • Go to PERMATA
  • Login
    1. Google Account
    2. Student Portal

  • Key-in any keywords in the search box.
  • Click button "SEARCH"

  • Filters by Resources > Hardcopy
4.
 
  • Click on chosen book title
5.
 
  • Check below details:
    • Item status
    • Location
    • SMD
  • Take note on the call number:
    • Example: HF5686.C8
      S65 1989
  • Search the book on the shelf.

  • Go to "Services"
  • Click on OPAC

  • Click menu "Search"

  • At the bottom of the page, Click "Advanced"

  • Through "Advanced Search", you can search using more specific information such as:
    • Author
    • Title
    • Series
    • Place of publication
    • Publisher
    • Subject
    • ISBN (more information HERE)
    • Programme
    • Any field
    • Journal name
    • Journal
    • ISSN (more information HERE)
    • Country
  • Other than that, you also may filter your search results by:
    • Library location
    • Year of publication
    • Item Category (more information HERE)

Book Renewal

  • Go to PERMATA
  • Login
    1. Google Account
    2. Student Portal

  • Click menu "My Account"
3.
 
  • Click on "RENEW" on your desired title
4.
 
  • Click "YES, RENEW" to confirm your renewal
5.
  • You will be shown success message once your renewal completed
6.
  • New duedate will be shown on your list of Book on Loans
